LOL!
Joanne, this is for you.
I finally experienced it.
Experienced the taste of working life.
Quoting Eugene, it's the money that made you go to your office everyday, nothing else.
I don't dread work
I love my job, still..
But it's the nature of work that's slowly killing the love
Imagine..
Waking up at 6.20 in the morning
Reach office and start working till past lunch time
Canceled a lunch appointment cos' there's a lot to catch up with at work
5.30pm comes. it's time for other people to go home, and it's time for you to rush work.
Stayed all the way up to 7.50pm
And the only thing to look forward to is a fast journey home to watch the first episode of the new local drama
40mins past, and not a bus in sight.
Cab home instead
And sian-ness kicks in
This is how I lived today
Tomorrow will be a better day, I hope.
As I was writing this entry.. I decided to turn to FB's message from God, hoping He could, in any way guide me? hehe
On this day, God wants you to know... ... that today you have a cause for celebration. Today, you should celebrate what an unbelievable life you have had so far: the accomplishments, the many blessings, and, yes, even the hardships because they have served to make you stronger. Just as a gem cannot be polished without friction, nor can a life be perfected without trials. Take a time to acknowledge your life and to praise yourself.
Very positive uh? Yap, mebbe I should think that way, a tip to survive the working life, I guess =)
what we could have been, 11:02 PM.
