San Francisco

I love the weather, food, people there.

San Fran is love!

I love the weather, really!

It's not too hot for boots and lovely clothings

And it's not so cold that we need to clothe ourselves like Eskimos

It's such a lovely place, I don't know where to start.

Shall let the pictures speak then.

We went to the pier then the Fishermen Wharf

for crabs

It's fleshy and sweet!
But that's not the point

This is..

You see this grey-haired lady at the right hand side of the picture?

I met her at the wharf
I overheard her conversation with that stranger in light brown shirt
Lady said, 'I can't believe it! I met someone at the store yesterday, she called me Grandma! I'm not a grandma. I don't think I am a grandma.'
Stranger replied, 'Are you serious? You're not a grandma. I mean you don't even look like a grandma! You look 21 years old to me.'

WHAHAHAHA!

That stranger is so sweet. But that's deception.

I'll hang 10 mirrors in my room to remind myself I am a grandma already, when I'm her age or at least look her age.

We were stranded at McDonalds for awhile before we went over to the wharf

There were some friendly demonstration on abortion by Catholic group

It was stretched over an hour

It was an eye opener for us!

Someone gave us a souvenier, the anti abortion sign!

Haha! And I joined the demo

So did mummy and Shawn

The next day, we headed to the airport on this limousine

My first time taking a real limo!

Las Vegas

The SIN desert

Surprisingly, Vegas was cold!

Vegas is very happening.

There's shows, fanciful hotels, hot babes and casinos!

This is the hotel we stayed at, The Mirage

Much more spacious than the one at San Fran!

And we can see Donald Trump building from our room

So cool!

We went for Steve Wyrick magic show

He's supposed to be better than David Copperfield

But how come David Copperfield can occupy the whole of Singapore Indoor Stadium and his is just a small theatre? =X

I don't know, but he's not bad either.

He can be on the stage at one moment and appear sitting right beside you the next.

I'm amazed by his speed.

I wanna stay at Treasure Island and Caesar palace one day!

There's free shows outside Treasure Island too!

Lastly, Los Angeles

It's quite hot there.. about 30 degrees in the day and 18 at night.

I can't imagine going there in summer.

Eugene and his girlfriend went one day earlier

His precence made me feel demoralised

He researched and planned the activities

And there's something in there whispering in my ears

'Shevon, grow up. Daddy and Mummy is getting old. This is your responsibility.'

I felt stressed even when I'm on holidays

I felt I'm being compared. And I don't quite like this idea

Forget the unhappiness

Ok, we stayed at Hollywood

Mummy wanted to stay at Santa Monica initially, cos there's higher tendency to see Hollywood stars

LOL

But Daddy went... 'What for see the sea for 4 days? Let's stay at Hollywood Blvd!'

Hahaha!

Only when we visited Santa Monica, I agree with Daddy.

It takes 30 to 40 mins from Hollywood la!

It's as big as.. I don't know.. erm.. Botanical Garden?

Farmers market was one of the places we went

I quite like that place

Oh ya, on my way back to Singapore.

I took the same plane as Allan Wu, Wong Li Lin and their two kids!

Their boy is so cute!

And I saw Shushu on the plane!

She was serving my row

We were like OMG, so awkward.

But after awhile, we were fine and I was specially treated

More goodies and special drinks! LOL

Concluding, I love this trip and the holidays with uncle Jo and family.

He really enjoy life la! I felt really relaxed with him around this trip. =)
