Konnichiwa! I've been away for awhile
Okays, updates updates!
This is my last hols.
And I went to visit the place that has the best things ever, Hokkaido! =)
Pardon me if I can't recall the place's name. Japanese language isn't that easy, seriously! =Pp
Ok, I really didn't expect I would be visiting Hokkaido like so soon. I thought I would need to work first then go there on my own or something
My end Oct and early November was (well) spent there!
We arrived Hokkaido at night. So we're staying over at this hotel for the night.
This town is quite ulu la! Nothing much except for some popular hotprings
This is the first time I sleep on tatami
Quite cool but very tiring to move those tatami and blankets. So heavy!

That's me preparing to go for hotspring for the first time! Haha
It's snowing
Went to this tourist attraction, more for sight seeing, overlooking some famous lake
It's famous for its ice cream, warm milk and steam corn!
The corn is really really sweet!
And there's this thing about Japanese cows..... the milk just taste different! Nice~
There's this small museum there. And this cat is also part of it. Why?
Because it was born with a heart shaped birthmark.. Haha
So cute~
After which, we went to have Japanese BBQ
Everytime the oil drips in, the fire will be very violent
We then went to this brown bear museum..
..where there's tribe performance
That guy is super cute. He learnt a little Hokkein, and kept saying paiseh paiseh! lol
And this is how I learn that there's tribes in Japan! Wow! I didn't know that
We then checked into this hotel where the buffet restaurant serves crabs! Oishi!
We took so much, I swear I'll not take crabs in the next 6 months la!
The day after.. we went to see the source of hotsprings
The sulphur smell is very pungent! Ew~
Next, we went to ring a bell!
The wishing bell.. I was wishing to just pass my exams
And it seems like my wish had came true! Thanks bell! =)
After making wishes, we went to Lake Hill Farm, a milk farm to learn how to make ice cream!

So filling.. we need exercise! We went to climb mountains.
Ehh.. ok la, it's a volcano, an active one.
And we didn't climb. We used the ropeway

Keep beating Haha! Excuse me.. the sunlight that's reflecting on the snow is so glaring! I couldn't open my eyes!

We headed to the Rusutsu Ski resort
Stayed there for 2 days
The first day we stayed there.. it was almost night time already
So we can't ski
So we went outside to test the weather for ski course the next day
So beautiful..
That's me, walking like ah ma. Cos' my shoe has no friction and I didn't get the slip-free pad from 7-11 too..
So...... yeah.. quite mindful
That night... after we went back to the hotel. I was tossing and turning..
Everything on my mind was exams, results, assignment results, fail, pass?
So many question marks..
I couldn't sleep. I got up. I told myself I need to get this off my shoulders for awhile.
I'm on holidays! I'm in Japan!
I wanted to sneak out to use the internet
But was afraid my godparents couldn't find me when they wake up for toilet or something
So I decided to pen it down. But I couldn't find my pen.
I went to the toilet and used my eye brow pencil to write..
Very pathetic hor? Sigh-
It worked! I fell asleep quite quickly thereafter
The second day.. Quite excited!
The tour guide said we don't need to wear our long john. The attire and equipments will be provided for
But I... very scared cold maa.. So I didn't listen. Went ahead to wear long john..
And I regretted! >.<
I was perspiring!!
The groupie! Course completed! Where's my cert? Haha

I'm drop dead. I didn't know skiing can be this tiring! Phew~
We went to make snow man. Making snow man isn't that easy too! 
The snow is hard. I can't imagine those people playing snow war
Sure alot of bruises. Haha
Oh.. Bad news.. There's this 70 year old auntie who went skiing with us fell and got her hand dislocated. She was sent to the hospital. And later I saw this guy being rescued by the personnels there too.. He got his hand fractured. I'm like OMG! Skiing can be dangerous!
But I really envy the auntie's attitude towards trying things. I wanna grow old like her!!
Though fell and got injured, but at least she tried. no regrets! =)
The following day, we went to collect some spring water
Locals there collect using buckets.. Not just one or two, like 6 buckets can!

We then headed to the white choclate factory.
We learnt how to bake cookies there.
And I noticed this lady doing sugar craft
The person who designed it is very meticulous. I see the designer's 细心 in every small details
Then we went to a museum opened by an old Japanese uncle.
Their Diaso is like heaven. about 7-8 floors and there's so much variety
We then travelled all the way to the Otaru, the tourguide call it the ex "Wall-street"

Nice~ Aiya.. I don't know what else to say.. All the food is just so..... good!

After that.. we went to shop around that area
Look at the takopachi in the middle picture. It's as big as a soft ball can.. I'm serious!

We shopped abit before heading back to the hotel for dinner...
And it was unexpectedly grand!
It's actually fine dining.
But our dress code like abit off hor? Haha. Hecks! Just eat! =Pp
I love the desserts! sweets* Especially the raspberry sobert
We then headed to the white choclate factory.
We learnt how to bake cookies there.
While waiting for my cookie to be ready, I went to walk around the factory
I love the deco and every theme of the room
And I noticed this lady doing sugar craft
The details are very delicate and very beautiful..
The one I like most is this cake...

Then we went to a museum opened by an old Japanese uncle.
He was so happy to welcome us cos' he owns a company in Tuas and feels the familarity between us. Haha..
We ate at the museum too. That restuarant is really cool. Food are served by floating boats
We headed to Sapporo, the CBD area of Hokkaido
We had our last dinner together as a tour group, the crab meal
We then went back hotel to rest to prepare for some marketing the next day
These are what we bought home. Plus some pessimons. Singaporeans are kiasu la!
When they hear chartered plane back to Singapore.. sure buy alot! LOL! Opps! =Pp
After we ordered the fruits and seafood, we went shopping. Have the famous ramen at Esta's ramen republic!
Didn't know my jie's that rich to own a mall! Heh..
But it turned out ooook only. The serving is for giants la! Very salty too!
We then took subway to Diaso
Their Diaso is like heaven. about 7-8 floors and there's so much variety
Japanese are totally spoilt with choices.. Even for the cosmetics also.. There's so many subs of Shishedo and it's less than half the price can!
On our way to Diaso, we walked through this street, looks like Taiwan's Hua Si Jie!
But much better, of course!

After shopping at Diaso and 100 Yen store, we went to have our supper at Mc'donalds
It's different but nice..
And that's how we spent our last day in Hokkaido
Back to the hot weather!
Before we leave.. the snow came again.. this time more like cotton wool~
