i'm back from shanghai
and i seriously don't like china!!
to start with, the first place we visited upon our arrival in shanghai was the HOSPITAL
my granny fell down and got the back of her head cut
the blood was gushing out profusely
we were so worried and she was so disappointed
stopped the blood
then wheelchair-ed her to the nearest hospital
Accidents and Emergency dept
we saw rows of bed-ridden patients when we entered
drawn with curtains
these are not wards
it's the entrance of the hospital
the most ridiculous one was this
the bed's just beside the lift lobby!!

shaving her hair and stitching her wound
then she went on for CT scan
a very interesting sign i saw in the room
The 4 Don'ts
i like the last 2
Do not operate the wrong part
Do not carry the wrong infant, push the wrong corpse
WHAHAHA!!!
we went back to the hotel to rest
but there aren't any chance to
my granny became a little disoriented
perhaps after the impact of the fall
waking up more than 5 times in the middle of the night
saying things that did not make sense at all
i was really terrified and spooked at the same time
thinking she got possessed!
WTF, i know!
she's my granny
but my mind went wild
this went on for 4 nights
and it rained for 4 days as well
i felt the weather's like my granny's health
when she got better, the weather improved together
i felt like i'm my granny's 24/7 mi see (nurse in hokkein)
or ah sam, she called me (maid in hokkein)
hahaha!!
well, it's an experience
i fell sick on the last day
i purged
i think i'm not used to the food
it's goddamn greasy!
they used oil like they're giving water
on top of it, might be due to stomach flu
my ma said i lost weight
TEEHEE!!
to cut everything short
we went huai hai road, qi pu road (one which keith recommended but suck), P.K. plaza near the national science centre and last of all, where our hotel are located, the nanjing east and west road
nanjing east road
it's autumn season
all the winter clothes are on sales
and i bought more gifts
than anything else for myself
i had a verbal fight with my godmother in shanghai
i stood firm
she got mad
she thinks she's always right!
she thinks i've got lousy attitude and need to change that character of mine!
she's always shaping me into the me she wants me to be
i loath
ok lar, the trip's not all bad
i'm impressed with shanghai's advancement
haagen dazs teppanyaki ice cream set made me happy!
and my beautiful manicured nails made the trip worthwhile! =)
